Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Orphaned package that FTBFS on s390x (#839528) after the build system update in the QA upload enabled running "make check".
Manually running "make check" on the version in stretch gives the same failure. With the choice of either disabling tests and shipping a likely broken program on s390x or removing it from s390x, the latter is IMHO the better option. #839528 will stay open (then non-RC), so that an adopter will see that there is a problem that should be fixed.
