after some initial problems (my changes to .scim/config being
overwritten?!) I can now confirm that things work as I would expect them
to. This is indeed a fix.

BTW: the "Hide Toolbar" option/checkbox, useful as it is, does not
persist between sessions... And an inclusion of this setting in the GUI
setup utility would also be useful, IMHO
