Package: gzip
Version: 1.6-5
Severity: important
Hello,
I've stumbled across a very odd bug with zgrep:
€ mkdir binary-foo
€ touch binary-foo/foo
€ gzip binary-foo/foo
€ zgrep foo binary-foo/foo.gz
/bin/zgrep: 75: /bin/zgrep: 1: binary-foo/foo.gz option requires an argument
renaming the directory makes this work:
€ mv binary-foo binar-foo
€ zgrep foo binar-foo/foo.gz
and indeed one can read in /bin/zgrep:
(-[ABCDXdefm] | binary-* | --file | --[lm]a* | --reg*)
case ${1?"$option option requires an argument"} in
There's a -- missing here, isn't it?
