Some authors and related professionals profit from GPL reinstatements,
so I would understand that an eventual GPLv4 would not fix this issue.
GPLv3 has enabled this business and it would not be fair to end it
through a license upgrade, although GPLv4 could solve this for
non-upgraded works.

In order to be DFSG compliant, I would like to attach an additional
permission to all my GPLed contributions. I hope other authors with this
concern use the same text. Thus I would like to hear from other authors,
but I do not know how; debian-upstream looks dead. Of course, I would
appreciate the input from FSF; maybe this concern has been raised
already.

My draft is:

        You are granted this additional permission:

        Without waiving any right to claim damages because of your
        copyright infringement, your license from the following
        copyright holders is reinstated permanently if you cease all
        violation of this License.

              * Alice
              * Bob
              * Coder Inc.
              * Authors listed in AUTHORS
