Hi, libboinc-app-dev has: Depends: [...], libstdc++6-4.7-dev | libstdc++-4.8-dev | libstdc++-4.9-dev | libstdc++-5-dev I see two problems with this: First of all, I'm not sure you need to depend on libstdc++ at all, given it is build-essential. Just like you don't depend on g++. Seconf of all, even if you need to depend on it, then you should update that for gcc-6 (and gcc-7's) libstdc++. Best of all would be to also depend on 'libstdc++-dev' as an alternative, which is a virtual package provided by the real libstdc++ (see libicu-dev).
