Nope, it's just the normal template /etc/gai.conf file with everything commented. I think pbuilder does blank out /etc/resolv.conf in the chroot to prevent that from confusing things. Is it possible that for some reason, the code now requires a DNS server to be available even to bind to a numeric IP address? -- Daniel
