Package: fuse-utils Version: 2.5.1-1 While testing fuse-utils with piuparts, I ran into the following problem:
1m53.7s ERROR: Package purging left files on system: /etc/default/fuse-utils This was in the test that installs the package in a sarge chroot, then upgrades it to etch and then to sid and finally removes and purges the package. The version of fuse-utils in sarge sets up and removes /etc/default/fuse-utils, The version in sid no longer does (since it doesn't seem to be needed). That part is good, as far as I can see. The postinst script in the new version should, I think, check whether it is being upgraded and if so, remove the default file. -- Debian is a beast that speaks with many voices -- R.B. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
