After having some reservations about this, I decided to introduce it in the next release of pristine-tar (to be released after the release of stretch). However, this is "unofficial" in a sense that, yes, it's going to sort using "sort -Vr", but you should not rely on this in scripts, for example. Hope this works for you. :) Tomasz
