No problem.  I'm afraid this answer will disappoint you, however.

Since Debian is in freeze mode for the next release: I do not plan on
uploading anything to "unstable" until the release is out.   It is
theoretically possible to make an upload to "experimental", but I don't have
time for that.

My general plan is to wait until the release is out, then upload whatever
Boost version is newest at that time.  I would only make these kind of
improvements in that version.

Perhaps let me then just ask if you could have a quick look and confirm if the changes in Boost NumPy seem sufficient - according to [1], Boost wiil have a complete freeze of the 1.64 branch at the end of this week.
