Thanks a lot for running tests in verbose mode! (Bug #857094). I have now built fabric 200 times and this is the result:
https://people.debian.org/~sanvila/build-logs/fabric/ If you can access people.debian.org, you can do this to retrieve all the build logs: rsync -avz people.debian.org:/home/sanvila/public_html/build-logs/fabric . Summary: It failed for me 163 out of 200 times, or 81.5% of the time. Even if this only happens on single-CPU machines, this is still a terrible figure, please let us fix this for stretch.
