Ok, that was not clear to me since .dhelp file are not generated by
hand, but rather automatically from debian/doc-base files and in that
files there is not linkname property.

Back to your question.

The field which generate your link is "title", but I prefer to keep it
to the name upstream assigned to it ("The Netclient Manual"). It is a
widespread choice for other pieces of ocaml docs registered with
doc-base. Nonetheless, please note that tools available in debian to
search doc-base documentation are able to find the netclient manual when
queried for "ocaml". This is because "ocaml" appears in the abstract of
the manual.

So I suggest you to look at tools like doc-central which are able to
answer queries like yours.
