Package: qfitsview Version: 3.3+p1+dfsg-1+b2 Severity: important Tags: upstream
Hi, When loading a 3D cube (e.g. from SINFONI), the spectrum sub-window is present but empty (no axes, no spectrum). On the bottom left and bottom right corners are the boundaries of the spectral range. The boundaries in spectral channels are correct, but the boundaries in microns are wrong. They are equal to each other and equal to an integer value (e.g. 1.000000 or 2.000000 depending on the cube). It could be a rounding error in the spectral range. If you do not have a cube for testing, you can produce one by installing yorick-cubeview and running: yorick -i /usr/share/doc/yorick-cubeview/examples/check.i This will produce a file called cubeview-test.fits. Since QFitsView is primarily a FITS viewer for 3D cubes, it is an important bug. I also tried the binary provided by upstream, it is affected by the same bug. The previous Debian version (3.2+dfsg-1) shows the same behaviour.
