Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package ships (or creates) a broken symlink. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): 0m33.2s ERROR: FAIL: Broken symlinks: /usr/share/doc/tau-examples/examples/python -> ../python-tau/examples Looking into this in more detail I find in tau-examples the symlink /usr/share/doc/tau-examples/examples/python -> ../python-tau/examples and in python-tau the files /usr/share/doc/tau-examples/examples/python/auto.py /usr/share/doc/tau-examples/examples/python/manual.py and installing tau-examples first and afterwards python-tau results in Unpacking python-tau (2.17.3.1.dfsg-4.1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/python-tau_2.17.3.1.dfsg-4.1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/share/doc/tau-examples/examples/python', which is also in package tau-examples 2.17.3.1.dfsg-4.1 Errors were encountered while processing: /var/cache/apt/archives/python-tau_2.17.3.1.dfsg-4.1_amd64.deb Looks like you can just drop the symlink from tau-examples, since python-tau will install it at the correct location. cheers, Andreas
