Package: spice-vdagent Version: 0.17.0-1 Followup-For: Bug #858549 Dear Maintainer,
I'm having this problem in a fresh stretch VM, using Xfce and lightdm. Automatic resizing does not work; however, the display is resized exactly once each time a graphical user logs out. That is: 1. The first lightdm screen after boot is displayed at 1024x768, and so is the first desktop session 2. After the first user logs out, the display resizes itself and lightdm fills the spice window. This happens exactly once, and no further resizes have any effect. 3. Logging in again and resizing also have no effect, until logging out -- then we get our one free resize again. -nd. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages spice-vdagent depends on: ii init-system-helpers 1.47 ii libasound2 1.1.3-5 ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libdbus-1-3 1.10.16-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-1 ii libpciaccess0 0.13.4-1+b2 ii libsystemd0 232-20~test0 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 ii libxfixes3 1:5.0.3-1 ii libxinerama1 2:1.1.3-1+b3 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.1-1 spice-vdagent recommends no packages. spice-vdagent suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
