Installation works for me:
Nothing seems to have a dependency/breaks that forces the installation
of libespeak-ng-libespeak1, so libespeak1 simply stays installed.
I do not know whether this is intended or a separate bug.
The problem you are describing is caused by the fact that all
dependencies on libespeak1 are versioned, and accordingly the provides
in libespeak-ng-libespeak1 also has to be versioned.
