Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
If the computer is suspended and Cinnamon Screensaver does not started, when the computer is resumed then the screensaver (lock) does not immediately start on resume until a network connection has been established. If the connection does not start the screensaver will eventually start after about 1-5 minutes or so. I should also note that I am running as an LDAP client. This can be a security vunerablity as the desktop either visible and read only, or visible and interactive. Regardless information is leaked. Screensaver (lockscreen) should appear as soon as the computer is resumed. As a work around, locking the screen prior to suspend the screen will be locked on resume. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=POSIX (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
