Package: rpld Version: 1.8beta1-8 Severity: normal If multiple instances of rpld are running on the same interface, the program behaves very strangely. This misbehaviour is to be expected, but it could perhaps behave a little more elegantly, perhaps by refusing to start if another instance is detected running on the same interface.
rpld does print the following message to the syslog if this happens: Feb 8 16:28:54 jinx rpld[5940]: client 00:d0:c9:99:05:9c requested block 86 Feb 8 16:28:54 jinx rpld[5940]: this shouldn't happen oops! Feb 8 16:28:54 jinx rpld[5940]: this shouldn't happen oops! Cheers, Shaun
