Package: fai-setup-storage
Version: 5.3.6
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I try to use FAI to setup an Intel Compute Stick which has an internal
mmc flash chip. While the device is recognized by the kernel since
Stretch and presented as /dev/mmcblk0, FAI does not detect it,
apparently because this device name is missing in the patterns in
setup-storage's Init.pm and also in fai-disk-info.

Unfortunately, adding the device to $disklist manually does not work
either but causes a perl exception in the Init.pm, line 292.

My current workaround is to setup a loop device in one of the class
files if a /dev/mmcblk0 is detected. However, supporting these devices
natively would be preferable, of course.

Best,
Maximilian
