Package: 9wm Version: 1.4.0-1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
According to 9wm man page, section MENU, 'New attempts to spawn a 9term process (or xterm if 9term is not available)'. However, if 9term (from Russ Cox's plan9port) is put in the PATH on a system without xterm installed, 'New' will produce: '9wm: exec xterm failed: No such file or directory'. Anyway, the problem is solved in Debian by by adding '9term' or 'x-terminal-emulator' as a '-term' argument. Please, consider clarifying it on the man page. Maybe, it should just say: 'New attempts to spawn an xterm process (unless -term argument is used)'. Note that '9term(1)' is worthly mentioned on the 'SEE ALSO' section.
