Do you think it could be possible to build the glusterfs vfs module? If I'm not wrong there are two issues: 1) The debian package is not providing a library package, the library is included in the glusterfs-common package which is quite big. 2) I don't think the API is stable Might be nice to put that module (and the associated manpage which is already shipped) in a dedicated debian package.
