Package: console-data Version: 2:1.12-5 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
after installing console-data, answering "Arch list", "qwertz" and "German", the output of debconf-get-selections grew 123 lines. While it is not clear at all which of those entries I need to include in my preseed file, this clutters up the preseed file tremendously. I do not have a clue about how things could be done better, and I understand that console-data is a rather complex package, but please consider not writing uneeded values to the debconf database, probably giving sane defaults to the actual postinst script just in case it wants to read a database entry that is not there. This would make preseeding console-data much easier. Greetings Marc
