After upgrade to stretch from jessie: samba 4.2 -> 4.5 we can not access any share with dfs enabled from any computer talking NT1 protocol or on servers restricted to NT1 because they are NT4 domain controllers and there are windows 10 clients on the domain. All was working without problems on jessie. If we disable the msdfs on the share we can access to it. If the server and the client can talk any NT1 later protocol, we can access the share without disabling the msdfs capability. From windows xp we can only access the share disabling the msdfs on it because the client is talking only NT1 protocol.
