Control: tag -1 - moreinfo Hi,
Jean-Michel Vourgère: > AppArmor was indeed not enabled. OK, thanks! > I was unable to find any kind of documentation in Jessie about how this works. > So basically, the package is useless unless you download the source or go to > the internet. > I expected to see a copy of https://wiki.debian.org/AppArmor/HowToUse or at > least some of it like the section "Enable AppArmor" and possibly others in > /u/s/doc/ Makes sense to me. I was expecting users to install AppArmor packages *after* reading https://wiki.debian.org/AppArmor/HowToUse, but obviously I was wrong, e.g. a number of packages "Suggests: apparmor". So a cheap fix would be to add a /usr/share/doc/apparmor/README.Debian file that points to the documentation on the wiki (so that users of Debian {old, oldold,}stable benefit from documentation updates). And then we can revert this once #702030 is done, or once AppArmor is enabled by default, whichever happens first :) Cheers, -- intrigeri
