I've reported a but to my GTK theme mantainers (Greybird theme) to allow Caja to have better integration. The mantainers said it will be fine to add the "sidebar" class to the left panel, so if you could do that, it will be great. Here the issue in Greybird github: https://github.com/shimmerproject/Greybird/issues/195#issuecomment-312385538 And here, the main mantainer answer: "The easiest way would be for caja to use the sidebar class, then the theming would simply be right in all themes..."
