That sounds like you're looking for jessie-backports, rather than a
stable update.

It's really not. The relevant debdiff is between the package currently
in jessie and the package you're proposing for jessie. Even if it were
only the diff for the rebuild that was required, there'd still be at
least a debian/changelog entry.

Filtering out the dictionaries, tests, Windows-related files and
embedded copy of the minizip library drops that quite a bit, but still
leaves

85 files changed, 6931 insertions(+), 1017 deletions(-)
