Package: libpython2.7-stdlib
Version: 2.7.13-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I would hope that a patch for python2.7 to work better with OpenSSL 1.1 could be
included in stretch.
* What led up to the situation?
Upgrading from jessie to stretch.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
There's more information in https://bugs.python.org/issue29697 and
https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/issues/2350
* What was the outcome of this action?
Inability to communicate with some peers
* What outcome did you expect instead?
The same level of communication as on jessie
Cheers,
Paul
