Package: hal
Version: 0.5.6-2
Severity: normal

Hi, I don't know whether acpid or hal is to blame for this, but since
the last upgrade of hal, acpid has stopped working, complaining that
it cannot access /proc/acpi/events, while lsof reveals that this file
is used by hald-addon-acpi, which doesn't seem to be documented
anywhere.

If hald-addon-acpi is meant to replace acpid, there should be some
hints about how this can be done, e.g. what do I need to do to make
the powerbutton event trigger the hibernate script...

Thanks,

Johannes
