gconf2 has been deprecated for ages, and last time we (at Tails) tried to get a patch in there, the answer we got was: "Thanks for sharing the patch here but as gconf has been deprecated and unmaintained for years I'm afraid that noone is around to review / merge. :-/" (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=784738) On my system, virt-manager is one the very few packages that still depend on gconf2. A cursory look at the source package seems to indicate that this dependency is obsolete. Correct? Cheers!
