Package: chromium Version: 59.0.3071.86-1 I have a chromecast device on my wifi network. Selecting 'Cast' in the chromium menu starts a popup that searches for devices, that ultimately says 'No Cast destination found. Need help?'. Thus, I am not able to cast my tabs/desktop to my chromecast device. I believe this should just work out of the box.
This used to work in Chromium under debian 8 with the chromecast extension installed. Any ideas how to debug this further? As a workaround, do you know of any other way to cast your desktop to a chromecast device? Starting chromium for that is a bit heavyweight to me. /Simon
