Thanks, although I see any kind of attribution has been lost in the way. :/ To preserve proper attribution of someone elses patches when using git you can use «git am *.patch» or when applying manually with say «git apply some.patch» and then doing for example «git commit -a --author 'Someone Else <some...@somewhere.org>'».
