Package: udev
Version: 232-25+deb9u1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

When I plug a USB device using the ACM driver, it is listed in
/dev/serial/by-id as pci-xxxxxx-if00 instead of usb-xxxxxx-if00.

This behaviour changed when tty and serial rules were merged together in
upstream commit 1c5f4cb19.

As the device is connected using USB, I think the previous behaviour was
better as a specific USB device has the same name on any computer.

Thanks,

Nicolas.
