Following a security update from 3.00-13.4 to 3.00-13.5, xpdf no longer
displays the background colour of a document correctly. A test file can
be constructed by processing the following LaTeX source using pdflatex:

\definecolor{sludge}{rgb}{0.0, 0.2, 0.1}
\definecolor{cream}{rgb}{1.0, .95, 0.1}

This should show pale yellowy text on a dark greenish ground
\end{slide}
\end{document}
Other pdf displayers, and xpdf prior to 3.00-13.5, correctly show the
background as green. xpdf 3.00-13.5 shows the background as white.
(As a workaround, unreadably pale text can be made readable by using the
-papercolor option.)
