Package: rename Version: 0.20-4 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
The package rename is not multi-arch compatible, so it cannot satisfy build dependencies across different architectures (e.g. i386 and amd64). The package is already Architecture: all, so there are no conflicts with files installed in /usr/share/* or /usr/bin. Also, I could not see any potential problems with the executable script in /usr/bin, or with the 'prerm' or 'postinst' maintainer scripts. In summary, this package is a good candidate to become Multi-Arch: foreign. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.11.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages rename depends on: ii perl 5.26.0-5 rename recommends no packages. rename suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
