Package: iio-sensor-proxy
Version: 2.2-1
Followup-For: Bug #852596

Dear Maintainer,

I don't know if a fix got backported to the 4.9 Linux kernel, but this
bug is still present on my Acer V5-171 with iio-sensor-proxy 2.2-1 and
Linux kernel 4.11:

# cat /proc/version

# tail -n 3 /var/log/syslog

maintainer's tree' from message 75 is invalid:

It looks like th eonly fix is still to uninstall iio-sensor-prox and
hope it does not get pulled back in with an update.
