apt-get has neither a 'seach' nor a 'search' command. apt-cache does. > IT would have helped there, because the search is done for firts line > information. Actually, apt-cache search searches over the entire description. But most people aren't going to care about what a program is implemented in, and won't have the technical knowledge to properly evaluate whether a GTK2 implementation of a particular concept is going to suit their needs or not, before they try it. People knowledgeable enough to say "I definitely need a GTK2 lightweight panel" or "I can't have anything that needs GTK2" are going to be knowledgeable enough to use grep-dctrl. - Matt -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
