Unfortunately, I can confirm that downgrading gnome-settings-daemon to
a matching 3.22.2-2+deb9u2 downloaded from
http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gnome-settings-daemon/ is
*not* sufficient to fix the non-detection of my 13HD in Wayland. Other
tablets will probably be the same.
