Hi Evgeniy!
I am looking over the Debian mirror universe, and noticed we have your
mirror listed as "ftp.by.debian.org" -- we are trying to make the
"ftp.*.debian.org" names be service aliases and refer to sites using
their "proper" (local) name.
o What's your mirror's more proper name? ftp.mgts.by or ftp.byfly.by or
something else entirely?
- Please let us know, and also,
- Modify your ftpsync configuration to use that as MIRRORNAME, so the
tracefile in
http://ftp.by.debian.org/debian/project/trace/
has a file by that name.
o Also, what's the best maintainer address to use?
(The DNS entries for your mirror are somewhat broken. The reverse
points to ftp.byfly.by, but that is a CNAME record (to
ftpbyflyby.belpak.by), which is not OK in DNS terms :)
More minor notes:
o your ftpsync version is a bit old. Maybe update?
o we recommend mirrors not sync directly from service aliases such as
ftp.<CC>.debian.org (only http is guaranteed to be available at
ftp.<CC>.d.o sites). Maybe change your config to sync from
the site currently backing ftp.nl.debian.org, ftp.snt.utwente.nl?
