Yes. Removing the package that is, not removing the functionality. We have made significant progress by introducing binutils-for-host and binutils-for build into src:binutils now. The next step is introducing gcc-7-for-host and when gcc-defaults takes over gcc-for-host, I want to remove the source package. Until then, I'd like to keep it accessible to show where this work is heading. So while there hasn't been any upload, progress is not stuck. I'd like to keep the package (rc buggy as it is) in experimental for a while though. I hope that doesn't cause too much pain to you. Helmut
