[...] FTR: I don't plan to work on 8.2 any more because I'm waiting for 9.x which will be quite different. I expect major changes to the build system and thus I don't want to put too much effort into 8.2. However if someone is able to resolve the open issues, e.g [1] then we could try to fix this bug as well and upload 8.2 to unstable.
