A)-Issues with debian-live-9.1.0-i386-gnome 1-bug -I have tried debian-live-9.1.0-i386-gnome on vmware(second laptop HP Pavilion dv7 core 2 duo) works fin except that somtimes when I lauch for exmple mozilla or other programs they dont launch 2-But when I try to install debian-live-9.1.0-i386-gnome on hard disk from boot, on one machine it boot to the different menus of debian but you can control the mouse; so you cannot select next button but with the tab buutton it work3-the same DVD debian-live-9.1.0-i386-gnome on another laptop loads vmlinuz ----ok, but initrd stays more than 5 min then gives message initrd ..... EDD: error 8000 reading sector 247544-I burned two other DVD but problems in 1-3 persist and giving different sector #19785 can't open /sbin/reopen-console: line 71 cant create /var/runconsole-device: non existant directory [182.419576] steal-ctty2176-.....segment fault at 0 ip bxxxxxxxx sp bxxxxxxx error 4 in lib.so.6[xxxxxx] many of thes line with same shared library lib.so.6[xxxxxxxxx] B)-Issues with source debian-9.1.0-i386-DVD-11-Isolinux run ok my first laptop but it has issues with mouse2-on the the second laptop isolinux 6.03 takes a long time than gives the following error:Failed to load ldlinux.c32boot failed: press a key to retry I retried but the problem persists 3-I haven't tried debian-9.1.0-i386-DVD-1 on virtual machine .i. the second laptop Please ignore issues 2,3,4 of A and all of on second laptop as is my fault debian-image on this laptop should be 64 bit Summary of issues pending -mouse problem of 1-A) on both live dvd and source dvd-1 - VMware installed on the second laptop have issues with some programs not starting Miloud Alkma Tel:514-264-2326 Consultant en Informatique www.acaciainformatics.com
