Source: libneo4j-client Version: 2.2.0-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Justification: fails to build from source User: debian-h...@lists.debian.org
Builds of libneo4j-client for hurd-i386 (admittedly not a release architecture) have been failing: dotdir.c:37:15: error: 'PATH_MAX' undeclared (first use in this function); did you mean 'INT8_MAX'? The Hurd has no fixed PATH_MAX. Best practice is to avoid blindly preallocating buffers, which typically results in wasting memory or else truncation (or, worse, buffer overflows). However, if that's not feasible, you can look up _PC_PATH_MAX via pathconf, or supply your own fallback constant (traditionally 4096). Could you please take a look? Thanks! -- Aaron M.
