Package: libndpi4
Version: 1.8-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

i'm using 'ntop-ng' and would like to add additional protocols via the
"-p" flag. However this seems to not do anything useful.
trying to debug the problem, it turns out that the nDPI protocol parser
does not get initialized correctly.
E.g.

~~~
# ntopng  --print-ndpi-protocols
nDPI detected protocols:
[NDPI] ndpi_init_protocol_defaults(missing protoId=226) INTERNAL ERROR: not all
protocols have been initialized
[  0] Unknown
[  1] FTP_CONTROL
[...]
[225] OpenDNS
[226] (null)
#
~~~

This might also be the cause for the error i get in ntop-ng (reported as
#878123).
At least this is what https://github.com/ntop/ntopng/issues/638 suggests.
The supposed fix "ntop/nDPI@72e3930" seems to be port 1.8 (although in
the 1.8-stable branch of upstream)
