Source: bind9
Version: 1:9.10.6+dfsg-3
Severity: important

I have a system with separate /usr running sid. Upon upgrading from
1:9.10.3.dfsg.P4-12.6 to 1:9.10.6+dfsg-3, I get the following message:

(Reading database ... 102957 files and directories currently installed.)
  Preparing to unpack .../bind9_1%3a9.10.6+dfsg-3_amd64.deb ...
  Unpacking bind9 (1:9.10.6+dfsg-3) over (1:9.10.3.dfsg.P4-12.6) ...
  dpkg: error processing archive
/var/cache/apt/archives/bind9_1%3a9.10.6+dfsg-3_amd64.deb (--unpack):
error creating hard link './usr/share/man/man1/isc-config.sh.1.gz': Invalid
cross-device link
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   /var/cache/apt/archives/bind9_1%3a9.10.6+dfsg-3_amd64.deb

It appears this is because that file is attempting to create a hardlink
to /.gz. Obviously one does not want such a hardlink anyway, but this
issue causes failures on systems with a separate /usr preventing the
package from being installed.

Could you fix this by removing that hard link, please?

The default information is from a different system and is not
applicable, so it has been elided.
