Package: iproute2
Version: 4.9.0-2
Severity: wishlist

Hi

The newer upstream version supports the vrf functionality included in
recent Linux kernels. I locally updated the repository from pkg-iproute
to the latest upstream release 4.13.0. The package built without any
further changes. I'm running this without any problems.

If you don't have the time to update the package yourself, just tell me
and I can do an upload. I can also just push my changes to the GIT
repository if you prefer to do the upload yourself.

There was one minor glitch while updateing the repository that
pristine-tar was unable to cope with the upstream tar.xz tarball. We
have to either not use pristine-tar for this release or use the .tar.gz
version. This is a bug in pristine-tar's handling of xz compression and
has nothing to do with iproute2. This is probably the same as
