i don't know if it is after updating mate packages, but i found that some keybinds no more send event to launch programs. Instead of launching the program configured with 'mate-keybinding-properties', it does input the character in the focused window. I use the bépo (fr-bepo) keymap. The keys that fails are Mod4+h Mod4+" Mod4+» (guillemetright), while keys « ( work well with Mod4. Using Ctrl instead of Mod4 works well too. The program (a script to switch between nammed windows) which i binded works with mosts of my keybindings. Anyway, i tested to bind : Mod4+h to glxgears (which is not a script and works well) and the program is not lauched.
