Package: tar
Version: 1.29b-1.1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
   Upgrading from jessie to strech

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   apt -y dist-upgrade

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   A half done upgrade

It looks similar to bug 823748
but I can't spot what to do.

best regards
