Another user submitted a similar issue upsteam, I've linked to this bug reports and asked the author of the extension to take a look at it.
Judging by the bug report, it seems like it might be related to how gnome names the keys. https://github.com/ivoarch/gnome-shell-TilixDropdown/issues/8
