Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
We use CuteCom to verify data from serial and to test device interface software.
CuteCom detects /dev/ttyS0, but it does not detect MOXA or virtual serial ports.
Older versions of CuteCom allows us to manually enter the Device, which allowed
us to connect to things like /dev/ttyVSP0, /dev/ttyr06, and /dev/battery.
* What led up to the situation?
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
* What was the outcome of this action?
* What outcome did you expect instead?
