To interface VM with bogofilter (spam bayesian filter), you need to use the vm-bogofilter.el file. The file is here: http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~bjornk/bogofilter/vm-bogofilter.el The license is OK for Debian (GPL). I wrote a patch for the bogofilter FAQ (English and Frenh version) on how to use this new functionnality on the Bogofilter homepage (see https://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1444239&forum_id=209925). The patch should be integrated soon. I don't know how to suggest dependances (the file requires formail and bogofilter). The better way is may be to write it with the associated documentation (like README.Debian) without to put them in the package (in order not to impose them to who want to use the other vm-bonus.el functions). To conclude, I used this file for now one week without problem on a Debian Sarge.
