Package: emacs25 Version: 25.1+1-4+deb9u1 Emacs is ignoring at least the verticalScrollBars resource.
$ xrdb -query | grep Emacs Emacs*bitmapIcon: on Emacs.font: fixed Emacs.geometry: 80x34 Emacs.toolBar: off Emacs.verticalScrollBars: off I get scroll bars and my window gets 79x33 geometry. I don't have inhibit-x-resources set, only the startup message.
